ARTIST STATEMENT
My artistic vision is guided by THE MARK — the mark of who we are, the mark we leave behind, and the mark that becomes our legacy. I believe every individual possesses a unique gift, an original contribution that no one else can make in quite the same way. Recognizing the value of that singular expression is at the heart of my artistic vision. It is where the mark begins.
I see art as a force for evolution: a force that can awaken awareness, bring people together, inspire participation, and transform the way we relate to one another and to the planet we inhabit.
This vision takes shape through four interconnected dimensions: the INDIVIDUAL MARK, the COLLECTIVE MARK, the ENVIRONMENTAL MARK, and the GENERATIONAL MARK. Each gives voice to a different dimension of our existence, while together they form a continuous expression of our place in the world and the mark we leave upon it.
Evolution is also at the heart of my own artistic journey. I embrace the challenge of continually expanding my creative language, working with different tools and forms of expression to give each idea its fullest force.
Every medium opens up new possibilities; every creative choice can intensify the message, give it another dimension, and bring it closer to the way I envision it. I do not seek to remain within one form of expression. I allow my art to evolve as the ideas and messages I want to communicate demand new ways of taking shape.
Ultimately, THE MARK is a reflection on the significance of our presence in the world: what makes each of us unique, what we create together, and what we pass on to those who follow.
For me, art is one of the ways in which our individual contributions can become part of something greater — a lasting force for collective evolution.
